The conference dedicated to the Day of the First President, the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 30th anniversary of the Akhmet Yasawi university.
The International conference organized on 26 November, 2021 in Turkestan by the Science Council under the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation and the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after H. A. Yasawi and was chaired by the Chairman of the Human Rights Comission under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Igor Rogov.
The meeting was attended by, Zuhtu Arslan Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Turkey, Kairat Mami Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Askhat Aimagambetov Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
At his conference speech Secretary General B. Amreyev shared the Organization's vision of current and future cooperation between the Member States and an exceptional role of H.E. Elbasy 1st President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has played in uniting the Turkic World.
B. Amreyev briefed participants on outcomes of the Summit in Istanbul such as adopting “Turkic Vision 2040”, changing the name of Organization, establishment of the Turkic Investment Fund and adoption of the Istanbul Declaration consisting 130 paragraphs among others.
He noted that the decisions taken in Istanbul should make a significant contribution to enhancing the multifaceted cooperation of the brotherly states.
Umirzak Shukeyev Governor of Turkestan region, Diusen Kaseinov Secretary General of the International organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), Darkhan Kydyrali President of the International Turkic Academy, Marat Azilkhanov Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, Zhanar Temirbekova Rector of the Khoja Akhmet Yassawi international Kazakh-Turkish University attended the conference and delivered speeches.
During the second-round table meeting, participants will pay special attention to the discussion of the results of the VIII summit of the Organization of Turkic States held in Istanbul on November 12, 2021.
