H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), met with H.E. Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), on 23 September at the OIC Permanent Mission in New York.

During the meeting the parties exchanged views on the strengthening of the cooperation between the OTS and OIC. The parties also discussed the pertinent issues between the OTS and OIC. 

Secretary General of the OTS noted that upcoming important events of the OIC such as 51st Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers will take place in Turkiye in 2025 and 16th Summit of the OIC will be hosted by Azerbaijan in 2026.
