Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov visited Ambassador Ahmet Yıldız, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey on 13 October 2016 in his Office at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, Secretary General Hasanov and Deputy Minister Yıldız exchanged views regarding the current and future activities of the Turkic Council. Parties also exchanged information on the “6th Summit of Heads of States of the Turkic Council” which will be hosted by the Kyrgyz Republic in Bishkek on November 2016.
Furthermore, Secretary General Hasanov gave information to Deputy Minister Yıldız about the international conference to be co-hosted by Turkic Council and UN Alliance of Civilizations on 20-21 October 2016 in Istanbul, with the concept of “Role of Youth in Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism” and invited him personally to the said conference as well as to the Reception to be hosted on 19 October on the occasion of the “3rd October- The Cooperation Day of the Turkic Speaking States”.
Deputy Minister Yıldız expressed his gratitude for the meeting with Secretary General Hasanov and thanked him for the exchange of information on the issues dealt with at the meeting. He also mentioned to the ascending activity graph of the Council and as well as the successful works caried out by the Turkic Council and also emphasized that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Repeblic of Turkey will continue to provide every support to Council’s activities as it has been until now.
Following the meeting, Deputy Minister Yıldız gave a luncheon to Secretary General Hasanov.
