Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov met with Arystanbek Mukhamediuly, Minister of Sports and Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan on 4 April 2017 in his Office.
Secretary General Hasanov informed Minister Mukhammedyuly about the activities carried out by the Turkic Council in the field of youth, sports and tourism and expressed his thanks to Minister Mukhamediuly for the support given for the Turkic Council Modern Joint Tour Package project which has come to the finalization stage.
Secretary General Hasanov also provided information on the preparations of the Second Meeting of the Turkic Council Minister in Charge of Youth and Sports.
Minister Mukhamediuly thanked Secretary General Hasanov for the information he provided to him and stated that the Ministry will continue to provide all the support to the Turkic Council in its activities in the field of sports, culture and tourism.
Minister Mukhamediuly continued by confirming his participation to the Second Meeting of the Turkic Council Minister in Charge of Youth and Sports to be held in Baku in May and expressed their gratitude for hosting the Turkic Council Ministers in Charge of Culture and Tourism in June.
At the end of the meeting, Secretary General Hasanov presented a plaque as a memorial of his visit to Minister Mukhamediuly and also presented Activity Report of the Turkic Council for 2016, brochure of the international conference commemorating the “Khojaly Genocide” taken place in Ankara and brochure of the international conference on the “Role of Youth in Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism” co-organized earlier with UNAOC.
Secretary General Hasanov was accompanied by Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul and Project Director Assan Mazhitov during the meeting.
