Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov, who came to Astana on the occasion of Fifth Meeting of the Turkic Business Council, visited Chairman of “Kazakhstan” National TV/Radio Corporation Yerlan Karin on 3 April 2017 at his premises.
Secretary General Hasanov celebrated Yerlan Karin with his recent appointment to the important position and gave information about the ongoing cooperation in the field of media.
Chairman Karin thanked the Turkic Council for its support in the cooperation platform established among the Official Research Centers of the member states while he was at the head of Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Likewise, he expressed readiness to support the Turkic Council’s projects in his new post.
Furthermore, Secretary General Hasanov presented the Activity Report of the Turkic Council for 2016, brochure of the international conference commemorating the “Khojaly Genocide” taken place in Ankara and brochure of the international conference on the “Role of Youth in Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism” co-organized earlier with UNAOC to Chairman Karin. The said publications were published last week.
Chairman Karin thanked the Secretary General Hasanov for visiting him during his busy schedule and stated that he believed that frequent meetings in a short period of time would make a major contribution to the cooperation among National TV Channels.
Turkic Council Deputy Secretary General Abzal Saparbekuly, Project Director Assan Mazhitov and Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul accompanied Secretary General Hasanov at the meeting.
