In the framework of the FITUR Tourism exhibition in Madrid on 21 January 2016 Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Spain H.E. Bakhyt Dyussenbayev has introduced Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov to Senator of Valencia of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Spain H.E. Jose Maria Chiquillo Barber, who is also a coordinator of the Silk Road project in UNESCO.
Senator Chiquillo Barber invited the Turkic Council to the international forum and exhibition dedicated to the Silk Road to be held on June 2016 in Valencia which will be co-organized with UNESCO. Furthermore he proposed to organize a presentation of the Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Package of the Turkic Council. In this regard, focal points from both sides were appointed for the organization of possible joint events in the period ahead.
