Within the framework of his official visit to Baku, the Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov visited the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ogtay Asadov on 8 December 2015 at his premises.
Ambassador Ramil Hasanov congratulated Mr. Ogtay Asadov on his reelection as the Speaker of the Parliament after the elections took place in the Republic of Azerbaijan on 1 November 2015. Ambassador Hasanov briefed Mr. Asadov on the activities of the Turkic Council realized since the 5th Summit held in September 2015 in Astana and future activities and projects planned for 2016.
Speaker of the Parliament Mr. Asadov expressed his gratitude for the visit of the Secretary General and stated that the existing support of the Republic of Azerbaijan will increasingly continue to the Turkic Council and its related institutions.
