Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov participated in the commemoration ceremony of the Great Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev organized in Heydar Aliyev Park in Sarıyer on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of his passing away to eternity.
During the ceremony the guests left carnations to Haydar Aliyev’s monument and a moment of silence was observed.
Hosted by Mr. Mesim Hacıyev, Consul General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Istanbul, the ceremony was attended by the representatives of non-governmental organizations, businessmen and citizens of Azerbaijan and Turkey.
Secretary General Hasanov was accompanied by Project Director Ferid Demirli, Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul and Deputy Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs Araz Salmanov.
