Secretary General of the Turkic council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov received Mr. Ensar Kılıç, General Director of Communications of the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications of the Republic of Turkey on 11 April 2017 at the Turkic Council premises.

General Director Kılıç informed Secretary General Hanasov about the preparations of the Second Meeting of the Turkic Council Working Group on ICT due to take place on 16-17 May in Istanbul. The agenda and program of the said meeting were evaluated by the Parties.

Secretary General Hasanov thanked Mr. Kılıç for his kind visit and for the information he provided and emphasized that the Turkic Council Secretariat is working towards the successful organization of the ICT Working Group Meeting. Secretary General Hasanov also expressed satisfaction that the meeting will be held coinciding with the World Telecommunication Day which is expected to contribute to the increase of the participation and the quality of the ICT Working Group Meeting. He also stated his opinion that the high level participation from the ICT organizations and companies from Turkey and the world, such as HAVELSAN, TÜRKSAT, TTI, HUAWEI and ARGELA, and their presentations during the Working Group Meeting will be of great benefit for the Member States. In addition, the Parties exchanged views on possible concrete projects to be realized in the field of ICT within the context of the relevant Working Group.

Turkic Council Deputy Secretary General Dr. Ömer Kocaman, Project Directors Ferid Demirli and Ali Çiviler accompanied Secretary General Hasanov during the meeting.
