On 21 April 2021, Secretary General Baghdad Amreyev received Mr. Mammad Musayev, President of National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations (ASK) of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the headquarter of the Secretariat in Istanbul.
During the meeting, the President of ASK Mammad Musayev expressed its gratitude to the Secretary General for his continued support to Azerbaijan and efforts of Turkic Council Secretariat on boosting business relations among the Member States.
Secretary General shared with M.Musayev current undertakings of the Secretariat in economic field, particularly the work on the establishment of Turkic Investment Fund, which will render as an effective instrument for encouraging economic and trade cooperation among the Member States, focusing on Small-Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs).
President of ASK expressed the readiness of his organization to continue fruitful and comprehensive cooperation related to the development of B2B relations within the framework of TCCI.
The Parties emphasized the need to develop the economic potential of Turkic Council Member States strengthening the role of Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) through implementation of joint activities/projects, and discussed the agenda of the upcoming Turkic Business Forum in Baku.
