Seventh Meeting of the Working Group on Cooperation in Media and Information Sphere was hosted by National Television and Radio Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the participation of representatives of the Member States on 6 May 2019 in Baku.
During the meeting moderated by Deputy Secretary General Dr. Ömer Kocaman, the Parties discussed the ways to implement the Plan of Events on development of cooperation in the sphere of information and media, preparation of video films, serials and video materials on history and culture of the Member States, establishment of a contact group responsible for exchange of information among the national TV channels, preparation of a Multilateral Technical Cooperation Protocol, cooperation among the news agencies of the Member States and organization of exchange programs and training courses for media experts.
Project Directors Jeyhun Shahverdiyev, Zhanar Nugumanova and Zhyldyz Uzakova were also present at the meeting.
