Under the cooperation framework of the Turkic Council, and implementing the decisions taken at the Third and Fourth meetings among the Official Foreign Policy Research Centers, the Secretariat of the Turkic Council and SAM Turkey issued special publication entitled “25th Anniversary of the Independence of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan and Turkey’s Contribution to Development and Cooperation in the Turkic Region” in honor of the Sixth Summit of the Turkic Council.
As is known, since their independence, the Turkic speaking states have accomplished remarkable achievements in their state-building, nation-building and national identity-building processes. At the same time, they have taken robust steps for their transition to the market economy in less than three decades.
