The 17th Meeting of the Senior Officials Committee (SOC) of the Turkic within the framework for preparations to the Turkic Council 5th Summit Council was concluded on 10 September 2015.

During the three day’s meeting, the Senior Officials finalized the negotiations on the documents and agreements to be presented to the Council of Foreign Ministers and the Council of Heads of State to be respectively convened on 10 and 11 September 2015 in Astana. In this regard, among other issues, they reviewed the draft 5th Summit Declaration and discussed the final version of the complementary agreements of the International Turkic Academy and Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation. These documents will be presented to the Foreign Ministers of the Member States for their consideration at their meeting to be held on 10 September 2015 in Astana.
