On 1 June 2024, the 2nd Informal Meeting of Assistants/Advisers on Foreign Policy Issues of the Heads of Member States of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was convened in Almaty upon the initiative of the OTS Incumbent Kazakhstan Chairpersonship. 

Delegations from the OTS Member States, as well as Secretariat officials attended the meeting with the purpose of discussing current issues on the agenda of the Organization.

Participants deliberated on the development of OTS activities, emphasizing the need for enhanced collaboration across political, economic and humanitarian domains among the Member States.

Assistants/Advisers on Foreign Policy Issues also discussed preparations for the upcoming OTS Informal Summit in Shusha, which is planned to be held on 5-6 July 2024 and 11th OTS Summit, which will be held in Bishkek in October 2024.
