The third meeting of representatives of financial institutions and regulatory bodies of the OTS held an online meeting for continuing the discussion of the drafts of the Turkic Green Finance Council (TGFC) concept, its statute and the relevant declaration on 16 June 2023.
At the meeting, the experts of the Member and Observer States shared their views on the proposed documents.
The sides agreed to carry out the 4th meeting in the second half of August 2023 to prepare the documents for adoption at a physical meeting of the respective bodies to be held in Kazakhstan.
The establishment of the Turkic Council on Green Finance was proposed by the President of Kazakhstan H.E. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during the 9th OTS Summit in Samarkand on 11 November 2022.
