The delegation headed by the Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov attended to the opening ceremony of the Second Meeting of the International Network for the UNESCO Silk Road online program on 8 June 2016 at the Valencia City Hall. The ceremony was inaugurated by speech of the Mayor of Valencia Joan Ribo, followed by traditional singing and dance.
On the margins of the ceremony, Secretary General Hasanov also met with various delegations and conducted bilateral talks, including Anar Muharremov, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Spain.
Project Directors Pelin Musabay Baki, Yedil Myrzakhanov, Farid Damirli and Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul, Representative of Sheki Governorship from the Republic of Azerbaijan Sarkhan Musayev and Coordinator of Foreign Relations of Young Entrepreneurs Association of Turkey Reha Yeresen accompanied Secretary General Hasanov at the opening ceremony.
