The delegation presided by Ambassador Ramil Hasanov, Secretary General of the Turkic Council attended on 18 January 2018 in Madrid the working breakfast given by Ömer Önhon, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Spain in the honour of Secretary General Hasanov. By organizing the breakfast, Ambassador Önhon kindly brought together the ambassadors and businessmen of the Turkic Council Member States together as a firm demonstration of solidarity in the Turkic region.
In this regard, Bakyt Dyussenbayev, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Spain, Anar Maharramov, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Spain and Ali Evsen, Founding President of Evsen Foundation, were the other invitees of the said event.
During the working breakfast, Ambassador Hasanov provided information about the activities of the Council to be materialized in 2018. Particularly he mentionned the importance of the Turkic Council Modern Silk Road Tour Package, the first trip of which will be kicked off on 15 March 2018, to promote the historical and cultural heritage of the Member States along this traditional route.
Welcoming the achievements of the Turkic Council, Ambassadors of the Member States expressed their firm support to the succesful activities of the Council. They also reiterated their readiness to organize joint activities in Spain to raise further awareness on the vision and mission of the Council.
At the end of the event, Secretary General Hasanov presented the annual report and the documents related to the activities of the Turkic Council to the Ambassadors of the Member States and the President of Evsen Foundation. This was followed with a family photo for the memory of the day.
Deputy Secretary General Dr. Ömer Kocaman, Project Directors Pelin Musabay Baki and Ceyhun Shahverdiyev as well as acting Chief of Protocol Araz Salmanov accompanied Secretary General Hasanov at the said event.
