Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Ruslan Kazakbaev, and the Secretary General of the Turkic Council H.E. Baghdad Amreyev held a telephone conversation today on 30 April 2021.
Minister R. Kazakbayev shared with the Secretary General the latest developments on the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border and ways of earliest peaceful settlement of the situation.
Secretary General Amreyev conveyed the condolences for those who lost their lives and also wished prompt recovery for the wounded ones.
B.Amreyev expressed the contentment for the negotiations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the parties and for the swift introduction of a cease-fire between the sides which opened up the course of de-escalation.
Secretary General also praised the contribution of the Kyrgyz side to the re-establishment of peace and underlined the hope of the Turkic world for the urgent stabilization of the situation.
