Approximately 100 businessmen from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey representing the fields of mining industry, energy, tourism, agriculture, food processing and light industry participated at the Forum.

Forum was opened by the addresses of Mr. Almaz Sazbakov, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Marat Sharshekeev, President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, Dr. Omer Kocaman, Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council, Mr. Vugar Zeynalov, Vice-President of National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers’) Organizations of Azerbaijan, Mr. Nurlan Eshkeev, First Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Mr. Cengiz Günay, Member of Board, Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey.

After the inaugural session, representatives of the Member States gave presentations on foreign investment and improvement of the investment climate in their countries. Following the official part business to business meetings were convened.
