Invited by the Kyrgyz Republic to monitor the Parliamentary Elections of Kyrgyzstan, Turkic Council International Joint Election Observer Mission realized its activities on 4 October 2015.
The Mission, which is composed of the Turkic Council Secretariat staff members, participants from the member states as well as the representatives of Turkic Council related bodies, performed its election observer activities in Bishkek and Osh. The activities of the Mission was started on 2 October and completed on 5 October 2015.
The Head of the Mission, Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov shared the outcomes the Observer Mission of the Turkic Council regarding the Election during a press conference organized on 5 October 2015 in Bishkek. He also informed the public about the results of the activities performed by the team in Osh.
Presently this is the 7th mission organized by the Turkic Council to monitor the elections in the Member States. Previously, Turkic Council’s joint observation missions monitored the Presidential Election in Kyrgyzstan’s Osh city in October 2011, Parliamentary Elections in Kazakhstan’s South Kazakhstan Province in January 2012, Presidential Election in Azerbaijan’s Aghdam district of Karabakh in October 2013, Presidential Election in Turkey’s Istanbul city in August 2014 and early Presidential Election in Kazakhstan in April 2015.
