The Opening Ceremony of the 2nd Youth Volunteering Educational Program was held on 13 August 2024 in Kyrgyzstan. The Opening Ceremony was attended by delegations from the Member States and Observers, as well as the Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

On behalf of the OTS Secretariat, Dr. Ömer Kocaman, Deputy Secretary General of the OTS, expressed his appreciation to the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyz Republic for hosting the event, as well as congratulated the youth of the Turkic World on the occasion of launching the 2nd Youth Volunteering Educational Program. 

He also underlined that the Program will highlight the critical role of the younger generation in the Turkic World by empowering them through comprehensive education and training in leadership, project management, and intercultural communication, thereby preparing them to drive positive change in the future.
