2nd Fam Trip of the Turkic Council Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Package is completed.
The second fam trip of the Turkic Council Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Package project, covering the important points on the traditional Silk Road, aiming to develop cooperation between the Turkic states in the field of tourism and to introduce the Modern Silk Road as a tourism destination to the world, was completed in Kyrgyzstan.
A press conference was held in Bishkek, the capital city of Kyrgyzstan, at the end of the fam trip prepared by the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council), which was attended by 25 journalists and tour operators from 6 countries.
THE TOUR WHICH IS AIMED TO INCREASE THE TOURISM POTENTIALS OF THE MEMBER STATES WILL STARTED TO BE SOLD OUT ON INTERNET IN SEPTEMBER 2017 AND THE TOURISTS WILL ENJOY THE TOUR BY NEVRUZ OF 2018.
Among the participants of the press conference, the journalists including Yaşar Çelik Editor of Tourism Journal and Aynur Tattersall the London correspondent of Doğan News Agency, Tina Walsh from England, Eli Hadzhieva from Belgium, Pınar Clara from Spain, Martino Migli and Alberto D`Argenzio from Italy, Ali Dağlar from Tourism Daily Journal and Hürriyet Newspaper travel addendum, , Tulga Ozan from Dünya Değişmeden Tourism Agency , Soolmaz Keyhanfar from Iran, Nursyazwana Binte Anwar and Tuck Yee Tan from Singapore, Henda Kefi from France, Daniella Strygina and Kunduz Beisheeva from Kyrgyzstan, Martin Lejeune and Michael Gabernig from Germany, Krzysztof Michniewicz, Malgorzata Gabriela Kocanda and Dariusz Supinski from Poland, Alexei Goncharov, Shokirbek Umarov, Oleg Belov from Kazakhstan, Safarov Seymur guide from Azerbaijan, Finn Olaf Jones from the US and Siham Alawami from Austria, were also involved.
Turkic Council Deputy Secretary General Dr. Ömer Kocaman, Project Directors Pelin Musabay Baki, Yedil Mirzakhanov, Yıldız Uzakova and Ceyhun Şahverdiyev, along with the Research Expert Dastan Almen were with the participants along the tour.

Azamat Camankulov, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Information of Kyrgyzstan, spoke at the press conference held at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Bishkek, expressed the great pleasure in welcoming the press members and tour operators in Kyrgyzstan and indicated that "introducing the Turkic world to the world is a very important issue and he invited everyone to explore Kyrgyzstan, a country among the mountains with a deep culture where you will have the chance to discover and live ancient traditions."

Project Director Pelin Musabay Baki, who also spoke at the press conference, stated that the Turkic Council Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Package Project which was designed and developed 3 years ago by the Turkic Council to make the historical Silk Road an attractive tourism destination is now successfully completed.

Project Director Baki also pointed out that the purpose of this fam trip was to promote the Turkic Council Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Package Project and stated that the journalists participating in the trip experienced unforgettable moments and expressed their appreciation at the end of the tour. Ms. Baki stated that these visit are organized with the kind support of the Presidencies, Prime Ministries, Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Ministries in Charge of Tourism of the Member States. She also indicated that the fam trips are supported by the Promotion Fund of the Prime Ministry of the Republic of Turkey and the main sponsor for transportation of the fam trips is Turkish Airlines. She also conveyed thanks to Air Astana, Azerbaijan Airlines, Almaty Intercontinental Hotel and Shimkent Rixos Hotel for their kind support.
