Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Baghdad Amreyev had a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan H.E. Jeyhun Bayramov on 7 February 2022 in Baku.
Secretary General Amreyev and Foreign Minister Bayramov exchanged views on the outcomes of the Istanbul Summit, the current state of cooperation within the framework of the OTS as well as situation in the Turkic World .
The Secretary General underlined Azerbaijan’s active contribution for strengthening the multifaceted relations in the framework of the OTS and briefed the Minister on the ongoing activities of the Secretariat for preparation of the relevant documents for implementation of the “Turkic Vision – 2040”, establishment of the Turkic Investment Fund and perspectives of the growing relations with the international organizations.
Further, the Parties exchanged views on joint actions for organizing high-level events as well as meetings on new areas on the initiatives of the Azerbaijani side for the coming period.
Secretary General and the Minister also discussed certain issues of mutual interest that are on the current global and regional agenda.
