The Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov visited the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.
The Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov visited the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on 26 July 2016.
The Secretary General Hasanov stated that, after the coup attempted against the State, the constitutional order, the Government and the people on 15 July 2016 in the Republic of Turkey, the Turkic Council will always stand shoulder to shoulder with people and the state of the Republic of Turkey and continue to extend its ongoing support as before.
The Secretary General Hasanov stated that, after the coup attempt, he carried out contacts with high ranking officials of the Turkic Council member states and got very strong solidarity messages from the member states. The Secretary General also noted that the member states have always supported the people and the state of the Republic of Turkey and will continue to do so as before, as it could be understood from the statements of Presidents of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic, also published in the media and the official website of the Turkic Council.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs Çavuşoğlu thanked the Secretary General Hasanov and the Turkic Council, and expressed satisfaction with the visit. The minister also emphasized the importance of support demonstrated by the brotherly states while paying particular attention to the increasing workload of the Turkic Council and stated that he has been following with interest the successful activities of the Council.
The Deputy Secretary General Dr. Ömer Kocaman and Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul accompanied the Secretary General Hasanov at the meeting.
