The Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov visited the Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) Asaf Hajiyev at his premises. The Secretary General Hasanov congratulated the Secretary General Hajiyev with the being elected to the post of the Secretary General of PABSEC. Ambassador Hasanov also underlined the need to further the ongoing relations between the Turkic Council and the PABSEC, take the cooperation between the organizations to a new level and strengthen the cooperation in the areas of interest of the Member States of the organizations. While expressing satisfaction of the current relations between the PABSEC and Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic Speaking Countries (TURKPA), an affiliated organization of the Turkic Council, Asaf Hajiyev expressed hope of upgrading the existing partnership with the aforementioned organization. While sharing his opinions with Mr. Hajiyev about the past and future activities of the Turkic Council, Hasanov expressed confidence that PABSEC will develop its future activities even further. Fınally, Ramil Hasanov thanked Mr. Hajiyev on his kind invitation to the General Assembly of the PABSEC to take place in June this year in Chișinău (Kishinev), the capital of Moldova, and wished him success in his future work. 

At the end of the meeting the Secretary General of the Turkic Council presented gifts introducing the Council to the Secretary General of the PABSEC.
