Secretary General of the Turkic Council, Baghdad Amreyev had meetings with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan H.E. Jeyhun Bayramov and Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan H.E. Kamran Aliyev in Baku on 5 November 2021.
The Secretary General and the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan had thorough exchange of views on the preparation process, agenda and program of the Summit, as well as the decisions to be taken by the Heads of State at the upcoming 8th Summit that will take place in Istanbul on 12 November 2021.
The Secretary General and the Prosecutor General had exchange of views on the results of the first Meeting of the Prosecutors General of the Turkic Council held recently in Baku on 1-2 November 2021.
The Secretary General emphasized the importance of establishing the Council of the Prosecutors General of the Turkic Speaking States.
The Parties noted that the new format of cooperation among the Prosecutor General’s Offices of the Member States will give impetus to the joint efforts of the Member States in combating all forms of crime including the trans-national crimes and increase the effectiveness of the multilateral cooperation.
