The concert tour of the TURKSOY Youth Chamber Orchestra, organized by the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Cooperation Council of the Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council), took the scene in Bishkek, in the capital of Kyrgyzstan following its performances in Turkistan, Shymkent and Taraz cities of Kazakhstan.
The concert was held on 4 September 2019 at Toktogul Satılganov State Philharmonic Concert Hall with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Information of the Kyrgyz Republic.
H.E. Azamat Camankulov, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Information of the Kyrgyz Republic, made a speech at the end of the concert and congratulated TURKSOY Secretary General Dusen Kaseinov and the young artists of the Turkic World and expressed his appreciation for their great performances. The Minister also recalled that Osh, the second largest city of Kyrgyzstan, is the 2019 Capital of Culture of the Turkic World and stated that various concerts and events will be organized by TURKSOY till the end of this year.
Following the Minister's speech, TURKSOY Secretary General Kaseinov addressed the guests and emphasized that this concert tour was organized with the support and contributions of the Turkic Council, TURKPA, Turkic Academy and the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkic Council.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Bishkek H. E. Cengiz Kamil Fırat, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Bishkek H.E. Shadurdy Meredov, the Representative of the TRNC to Bishkek Atınç Keskin, the Rector of Kyrgyz Turkish Manas University Prof. Dr. Sabahattin Balcı and the leading artists and academicians of Kyrgyzstan participated in the concert.
Project Director Yıldız Uzakova represented the Turkic Council at the concert.
