The Turkic Council International Election Observation Mission headed by the Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov to monitor 26th Parliamentary Elections of the Republic of Turkey in Istanbul on 1 November 2015 upon the invitation of the Supreme Electoral Council of the Republic of Turkey, started its monitoring activities. The Mission members will continue to work at various provinces of Istanbul. The election process started at 8.00 am and will last at 17.00 o`clock.

The international observation mission comprises of the members of the International Turkic Academy, and officials of the Turkic Council-except those who have Turkish citizenship. The report of the international observation mission will be conveyed to the Member States of the Turkic Council and the press release concerning the said mission will be shared with the public at the end of their duties.
