The Turkic Council Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Package was promoted at the 17th Azerbaijan International Travel and Tourism Fair, (AITF 2018) that took place on 5-7 April 2018 that was visited by HE İlham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Project Director Pelin Musabay Baki presented the brochures of the Joint Tour Package to HE İlham Aliyev indicating that the instructions given by the Turkic Council Member States at the 2014 Bodrum Summit on tourism cooperation on the preparation of such a joint tour have been implemented.
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan allocated a place to the Turkic Council for the promotion of the Joint Tour Package.
The exhibition gathered 270 tour agencies from 20 countries and during the event the Joint Tour Package attracted significant interests of visitors and tour agencies. Further details on the said package is accessible at www.modernsilkroadtour.com .
