Officials from the relevant ministries of the Member States as well as representatives of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy of Turkmenistan took part in the workshop whose primary aim is/was to establish standardization in the organization methodology of future youth camps of the Turkic Council.

The one-week workshop included training programs and seminars on the planning, organization, and functioning of youth camps in Turkey as well as their effects on youth. The participants also held meetings with the officials of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey and paid a visit to a youth camp to get the first-hand experience about camp facilities and implementation of the camp practice.
