The unofficial translation of the congratulatory letter sent by the Secretary General of the Turkic Council to the President of the Kyrgyz Republic on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Kyrgyz Republic is presented below:
Honorable President, Dear Excellency Sadyr Zhaparov!
On behalf of the Cooperation Council of the Turkic Speaking States and on my own behalf, I cordially congratulate you and through you, fraternal Kyrgyz people, on this historical day - the 30th anniversary of independence and sovereignty!
During 30 years, the Kyrgyz people have passed through a historical period with political events, strengthened their statehood, independence, and followed the democratic path.
The international community has firmly recognized Kyrgyzstan as a sovereign country that firmly adheres to democratic principles, respects the values of the rule of law, freedom of speech and human rights.
Kyrgyzstan is on the verge of great changes. The main direction of the country is firming of a developed, strong, educated, and social state. In this path, the Kyrgyz Republic takes confident steps into the future, strives for new prospects and has a bright future with promising hopes.
Kyrgyzstan is an integral part of the Turkic Speaking States. The Kyrgyz Republic has an important place in the Turkic world. Currently, Kyrgyzstan actively participates in all cooperation processes, makes a great contribution to strengthening bilateral and multilateral collaboration increasing Organization’s reputability in the international arena.
We believe that the Kyrgyz Republic, together with the brotherly Turkic States, will open a new page in its history, strengthen economic, cultural, social ties, and continue to enhance the bridges of solidarity.
Dear Excellency! I wish all the Kyrgyz people peace, prosperity and health on the most important day of the country – the 30th anniversary of independence!
