On the second day of the Workshop on ‘Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in OIC Member Countries: Needs and Capacity Assessment’ organized by SESRIC in Ankara between 9-11 May 2016, following topics were discussed at the session devoted to ‘Education Systems of the OIC Member States’: framework of national competences, accreditation and certification, number of occupational standards and modular training program, vocational training and labor market relations.
Project Director Yıldız Uzakova, representing the Turkic Council at the Workshop, conveyed information about the vocational training programs being carried out by the Turkic Council among its Member States in the field of tourism and customs cooperation.
