Turkic Business Forum “Devoted to the restoration and development of the liberated Karabakh region of Azerbaijan” convened in Baku
The Turkic Business Forum “Devoted to the restoration and development of the liberated Karabakh region of Azerbaijan” was held on 10 September 2021 in Baku. 

The Business Forum was organized by the Secretariat of Turkic Council, Ministry of Economy and National Confederation of Entrepreneurs Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASK) and attended by the participants of the 10th Meeting of the Ministers in Charge of Economy of the Turkic Council, Heads of Chambers of Commerce and industry of Turkic States as well as more than 100 business representatives from the Turkic Council Member and Observer States.
 
In his opening speech, Turkic Council Secretary General Baghdad Amreyev welcomed the delegations and noted that the proposal to organize Turkic Council Business Forum dedicated to the Karabakh region was decided during the meeting of the Secretary General of Turkic Council with President of Azerbaijan H.E. Ilham Aliyev held in January 2021 and aimed at mobilizing the potential of Buisness community of Turkic countries for the rehabilitation of the liberated territories of Karabakh region. 

Emphasizing the essential role of private sector from the  brotherly Turkic countries in the process of restoration, re-building, and development of the Karabakh, Secretary General Amreyev called the participants  to promote trade, strengthen economic ties and increase investment with concrete and productive initiatives and projects in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan. 

Following the official remarks of the heads of delegations, the forum proceeded with the special session entitled the “Role of the Turkic Business Communities in the restoration and development of the liberated Karabakh territories of Azerbaijan”. 

Business representatives also held B2B meetings in various fields such as construction, agriculture and food, renewable energy, light Industry, tourism, mining, and E-commerce.
