At the initiative of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Informal Summit of the Turkic Council, dedicated to the theme “Turkistan - Spiritual Capital of the Turkic World”, will be convened on 31 March 2021 in Turkistan, Kazakhstan.
The Informal Summit will be attended by the Heads of State of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and the Prime Minister of Hungary.
The Heads of States will discuss the current state and the future of the cooperation among the Turkic Speaking States, exchange views on regional and international issues affecting the interests of the Turkic World as well as further strengthen the Organization.
At the Summit, Turkistan city will be announced as “Spiritual Capital of the Turkic World” and the Turkistan Declaration will be adopted.
The program of the Summit also includes the visit of the leaders to the mausoleum of the great thinker and founder of Turkic school of Islamic morality “Hodja Ahmad Yasawi”, who has had a great influence on the development of philosophical wisdom throughout the Turkic World. The leaders will also be familiarized with the new sights of the modern Turkistan.
