The Turkic Council International Election Mission headed by Turkic Council Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasan finished observing Presidential and 27th Parliamentary General Elections of the Republic of Turkey on 24 June 2018.
The mission, comprised of the Secretariat officials and representatives coming from the Member States other than Turkey, performed its observation activities in three cities: Istanbul, Antalya and Samsun. The observation process of the ballot boxes started at 8:00 and lasted until 17:00. After polls close at 17:00, the mission, divided into several separate groups, monitored the vote counting process at the randomly selected ballot boxes.
The outcomes of the Mission will be shared with the public tomorrow. The said press release will also cover the general assessment of the TURKPA Mission, which monitored the elections in Ankara.
