Turkic Council Joint Photo Exhibition and Information Tour will be held in Azerbaijan in the first week of April
Because the theme of 4th Turkic Council Summit of Heads of State which will be held in Turkey is “Tourism Cooperation”, a Tourism Cooperation Working Group (WG) comprised of experts has been established. In accordance with the decisions taken during the first meeting of the WG in December 2013, during the first week of April various events will be held in Baku, to be hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan.
In this context, the Turkic Council Joint Photo Exhibition will be held on 3-5 April 2014 in Baku in the framework of 13th Azerbaijan International Travel and Tourism Fair (AITF-2014). During the event tourism photographs on the tourism destinations of the Turkic Council Member States located along the historic Silk Road will be exhibited.
Along with Turkic Council Joint Photo Exhibition, a delegation comprised of public and private sectors and media representatives of the Turkic Council Member States will visit Baku, Sheki and Gabala on 2-6 April 2014, in the framework of First Joint Tourism Information Tour. Those participants will also participate in the opening of the Joint Photo Exhibition.
Meanwhile, a delegation of Turkic Council Secretariat will attend the fifty-seventh meeting of the UNWTO Commission for Europe (CEU) and seminar on “developing effective tourism clusters” to be held in Baku on 3-4 April 2014.
Report relating to those events will be presented to the First Meeting of Ministers in charge of Tourism to be held in Istanbul on 11 April 2014. Turkic Council Summit of Heads of States under the theme “Tourism Cooperation” is planned to be held in Turkey in the first week of June 2014.
