Turkic Council Junior Diplomats 6th Joint Training Program is continuing in Baku.
Former Prime Minister, Former Foreign Minister and Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Poland H.E. Hasan Hasanov, Former Foreign Minister and Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Hungary H.E. Dr. Vilayat Guliyev,  Former Ambassador of Hungary to Turkey H.E. Dr. Hovari Janos and Associate Prof. Ali Faik Demir delivered educational lectures to the participants of the Turkic Council Junior Diplomats 6th Joint Training Program on 20-21 May 2019 in Baku.


H.E. Hasan Hasanov made the first presentation called "Common Turkic Values", in which he shared ample information about the ethnic ancestors of present-day Turkic people, such as the Cimmerians, the Scythians (Sakas), the Huns, the Oghuzs, as well as the Kypchaks.

Ambassador Hasanov talked about the legendary Turkic leaders Oghuz Khagan and All Ar Tonga and emphasized that Tengrisim, the Turkic New Year - Nowruz, Dede Korkut, Mahmud Kashkarli, Issyk and Orhono-Yenisei texts, Yusuf Khass Hajib and 12-year cycle Turkic animal calendar are among the most important symbols of unity of Turkic people.

In his second presentation titled "Relation between Ambassador and Junior Diplomat: Point of view of Ambassador/Fragments from my Diplomatic Experience", he shared his extensive experience and made useful suggestions about how to use effective speaking and negotiation techniques.

H.E. Dr. Vilayat Guliyev delivered a lecture on the topic of "Turkic Unity in the XX Century and Issues of Common Turkic Language" and highlighted that Turkic languages are spoken as a native language by some 170 million people, and the total number of Turkic speakers, including second language speakers, is over 200 million.

H.E. Dr. Hovari Janos, Former Ambassador of Hungary to Turkey, and Associate Prof. Ali Faik Demir from Galatasaray University also made presentations about "Relations of Hungary and the Turkic Speaking States: Historical Context and the Future Prospects" and "Further Cooperation Opportunities among the Turkic Speaking States", respectively.
