Ministers of Foreign Affairs and the Secretary General of the Turkic Council came together at the dinner hosted by H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey on 26 September 2021 in Istanbul, prior to the Extraordinary Meeting of Council of Foreign Ministers of the Turkic Council to be held on 27 September 2021.
The dinner was attended by H.E. Mukhtar Tileuberdi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, H.E. Ruslan Kazakbaev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyz Republic, H.E. Abdulaziz Kamilov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Secretary General H.E.Baghdad Amreyev.
Turkey's Nobel Laureate Professor Aziz Sancar was also present as the guest of honour.
During the dinner, Foreign Ministers and the Secretary General discussed the agendas of the upcoming high-level events in the framework of the Turkic Council, as well as the latest developments in the region and the world.
The Nobel Laureate Prof. Aziz Sancar shared with the Foreign Ministers and the Secretary General his thoughts about recent world trends in the medical science and the possible scientific studies to be conducted within the Turkic World.
