Turkic Council Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Package is being presented at the New York Times Travel Show held on 26-28 January 2018 in New York City.
The presentation of the tour package at the New York Times Travel Show is possible thanks to an agreement reached between the Turkic Council and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey. Project Director Pelin Musabay Baki who went to New York to present the tour package informed the American tour operators about the Modern Silk Road Tour on 26 January 2018. Following the exhibition opening, Consul General of the Republic of Turkey to New York Ertan Yalçın, received information on the tour when he visited the stand reserved for the promotion of the tour package.
The said tour package involved a big interest of visitors who came to the fair, which attracted the participation of more than 8000 industry professionals and 900 media representatives. The video presentation of the tour is being made during the exhibition.
