Turkic Council Project Director Pelin Musabay Baki participated in the visit held on 9 November 2017 by the Center for Strategic Studies (SAM) under the Presidency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on the occasion of State Flag Day, to the Çocuk Mercanlı town located at Jabrayil province of Azerbaijan, which was rescued from the Armenian occupation.
In this context, firstly, the Monument of April Conflicts Martyrs was visited. Then, the Governor of the Jabrayil province, Mr. Kemal Hasanov informed the participants about the development of the Çocuk Mercanlı town which was realised within a short period of time with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev.
Within the scope of the visit, the visitors contacted with residents of Çocuk Mercanlı town, came together with the students of the secondary school in the town and presented gifts to them related to the meaning of the day.
Hosted by the SAM of Azerbaijan on the 10th anniversary of its foundation, the Fourth Meeting of the Strategic Research Centers of the Member States of the Turkic Council will be held in Baku on 10 November,
Azerbaijan SAM is also organizing activities to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Azerbaijan within the scope of this week.
