Turkic Council Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov is attending the 34th Meeting of the Permanent Council of Culture Ministers of TURKSOY and the Official Closing Ceremony of Sheki 2016 – Cultural Capital of the Turkic World being held on 1-2 December 2016 in Azerbaijan’s Sheki city. The meeting and the closing activities are hosted by the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Ebulfez Garayev and TURKSOY Secretary General Düsen Kaseinov.
At the beginning of the program, the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Ebulfez Garayev, Ministers and Vice Ministers of Culture from the participating countries, Turkic Council Secretary General Hasanov, TURKSOY Secretary General Kaseinov and high state officials of Azerbaijan laid wreaths at the monument of the Founding President of Azerbaijan Great Leader Haydar Aliyev and observed a minute of silence.
After the wreath-laying ceremony, the participants proceeded to the 34th Meeting of the Permanent Council of Culture Ministers of TURKSOY.
Deputy Secretary General Dr. Ömer Kocaman, Project Director Ali Çiviler and Finance and Administration Assistant Manager Araz Salmanov accompanied Secretary General Hasanov in Sheki program.
