Secretary General Hasanov, continuing his official contacts in Baku, visited Mr. Şahin Mustafayev, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan on 14 March 2016 at his office.
Secretary General Hasanov gave information to Minister Mustafayev on the activities of the Turkic Council in the field of economy and exchanged views regarding the assistance needed in preparation of the 6th Meeting of the Turkic Council Ministers of Economy which will be hosted by the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Minister Mustafayev expressed his gratitude for the visit of the Secretary general and informed that the business portal ‘transit.az’, activated by the Republic of Azerbaijan, is now online, which is a useful tool for businesses and creates new opportunities in the field of transportation as well as he underlined that all demands, questions and complaints coming via portal are very seriously evaluated by the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Secretary General Hasanov presented a gift to Minister Mustafayev at the end of the meeting.
