Workshop on Trans-Caspian Intermodal Route is being organized in Istanbul on 8 March 2016 in collaboration with the Turkic Council and Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications of the Republic of Turkey.
Workshop has started with the opening statements of Mr. Abzal Saparbekuly, Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council and Mr. Olcay Doğan, Chief of the Department of Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications of the Republic of Turkey.
More than 100 participants including high officials from the Member States of the Turkic Council as well as businessmen involved in transport sector participate in the Workshop. During the Workshop experts will exchange information and discuss the issues of Existing Transport Infrastructures and Network in the Countries en Route, Cargo Projections Along the Route, Problems Faced on the Route and Possible Solutions.
Presentations will be made by the the road, sea and rail experts from our countries and businessmen from the region during the Workshop.
