Working Group Meeting on the review the findings and recommendation reported during the field visits organized under Caravanserai Project was convened on 22 May 2018 in Bishkek at the premises of the State Customs Service under the Government of Kyrgyz Republic.
At the meeting, Parties to the Caravanserai Project reviewed the findings and recommendations reported at the field visits organized respectively in 2012 and 2016 in light of the recent developments.
Parties also considered submitting the idea of organizing a field visit to Irkeshtam border gate between Kyrgyzstan and China as an agenda item to be discussed at the 8th Silk Road Forum which will be held on 24 May 2018 in Bishkek.
Project Directors Farid Damirli and Özge Pan represented the Turkic Council at the Working Group Meeting.
