Co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye and the OTS Secretariat, the Ministerial Meeting Charge of Tourism of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was held on 9 July 2025, in Ankara.

The meeting was attended by high-level delegations from OTS Member States and Observers, including ministers and senior officials in charge of Tourism.

H.E. Amb. Kubanychbek Omuraliev, the Secretary General of the OTS participated and delivered a speech at the plenary session, where he highlighted the Organization’s initiatives such as the Turkic Silk Road, Tabarruk Ziyarat, Turkic Museum Pass Projects, Union of Turkic Ski Resorts and the Turkic World Tourism Capital program. He also emphasized the need for a Joint Museum Card and the enhanced cooperation in the field of tourism.

Additionally, head of delegations shared their opinions, reaffirming their dedication to collaborating on tourism and expressing their support for advancing tangible initiatives under the OTS Agenda.

The meeting concluded with the signing of the MoU among the Member States of the OTS on cooperation in the field of tourism, adoption of the Ankara Declaration and the establishment of the Working Group for the development of Joint Museum Card.
