The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, took part in the Closing Ceremony of the Second Ministerial Meeting on Family Affairs and Social Policy and “Young Family Forum” held in Baku on 12 June 2025.
In his remarks, the Secretary General emphasized the importance of preserving the momentum generated during the Meeting and encouraged continued collaboration among Member States and with the OTS Secretariat. He underlined that joint efforts would contribute to meaningful progress in strengthening the well-being of families and citizens across the Turkic world. He further expressed confidence that the provisions of the adopted Joint Communiqué would be effectively implemented before the next Ministerial Meeting, scheduled to be held in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ms. Bahar Muradova, also addressed the participants during the ceremony, stressing the significance of sustained cooperation and coordinated policies in addressing social and gender-related issues in the Turkic region.
The Closing Ceremony continued with a visit to the exhibition featuring national symbols of the Turkic States, organized within the framework of the Young Family Forum. The event concluded with a colourful concert program showcasing the musical and dance traditions of the Member and Observer States of the OTS, reflecting the rich cultural diversity and unity of the Turkic world.
