Secretary General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev received the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey Ahmet Misbah Demircan at the premises of the Turkic Council Secretariat in Istanbul on 12 February 2021.
Deputy Minister Demircan congratulated the Secretary General for the new building of the Turkic Council Secretariat and reiterated the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey to the projects and initiatives of the Turkic Council. Deputy Minister Demircan stated that in coordination with the Secretariat, they would like to organize “Turkish Film Festival” consisting of film screenings and complementary events within the Turkic Council Member States.
The Secretary General welcomed the Deputy Minister and thanked for the visit. Underlining the importance of the support provided by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, B.Amreyev stated that the Turkic Council is ready to organize the “Turkish Film Festival” together with the Turkish Ministry, which will increase the interaction among the societies of the Turkic Council Member States.
Parties also exchanged views on number of issues of common attention.
