Kyrgyz Information Technology Forum was held in Bishkek

The annual Kyrgyz Information Technology (KIT) Forum was launched in Bishkek on May 29-30, 2025. The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Dr. Mirvokhid Azimov, Minister of Digital Development of the Kyrgyz Republic, Azamat Zhamangulov, Director of the High Technology Park of the Kyrgyz Republic, Azis Abakirov, and other high-ranking officials.

During the opening ceremony, Deputy Secretary General Azimov emphasized the importance of cooperation in IT sector. In an era where digital transformation is redefining the global landscape, our countries are uniquely positioned to shape this technological revolution. Artificial Intelligence, once a futuristic concept, is now a driving force behind change in governance, education, healthcare, commerce, and beyond. Its transformative power compels OTS countries to embrace it fully and work together to unlock its potential for the progress of our entire region, highlighted Deputy Secretary General Azimov.

The KIT Forum is the largest event dedicated to IT and digital innovation in Kyrgyzstan, organized annually since 2010. It brings together business leaders, international experts, members of the IT community, and representatives of government agencies. Each year, the forum attracts up to 2,000 participants, including specialists, company executives, students, and representatives from public and private sectors.
