On 12 June 2025 the heads of investment promotion agencies of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Member States within the 4th Tashkent International Investment Forum convened a high-level meeting aimed at strengthening cooperation, enhancing economic ties and boosting the global competitiveness of Turkic countries.

At the opening ceremony of the meeting, the message of H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of OTS, was delivered to participants by Mr. Farid Mammadov, Project Manager of OTS. The address highlighted the region’s immense economic potential, emphasized the importance of further increasing this intra-trade between OTS countries, underscored the dynamic new phase of economic relations among Turkic States. It was pointed out that key mechanisms of OTS such as the Union of Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the Turkic Investment Fund, the Trade Facilitation Committee, the Turkic Green Finance Council and the Council of Central (National) Banks are driving integration and modernization across the region.

The Secretary General’s address stressed that the institutional network among Turkic Investment Promotion Agencies will provide a structured platform for joint activities, streamline the investor experience and position the Turkic region as a competitive investment destination.

The meeting followed by a panel session, where heads of investment promotion agencies of the OTS made interventions on developing and strengthening investment cooperation in the Turkic World. Moreover, the new TurkIPAnet platform was presented to the participants of the meeting.

At the end of the meeting the “Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation among the Investment Promotion Agencies of the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States” was signed, which established the Turkic Investment Promotion Network (TurkIPAnet) within OTS.
