The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev delivered a keynote speech at the panel on “Vision for Great Türkiye” which was hosted by H.E. Fahrettin Altun, Director of Communications of the Republic of Türkiye on 24 May 2023 in Ankara.
Secretary General Omuraliev underlined the importance of increasing solidarity and acting as a single entity within the Turkic World. Secretary General further emphasized that “Great Turkic World Vision” and “Great Türkiye Vision” are inseparable part of each other and crucial for increasing cooperation within the Member and Observer States.
Türkiye's Communications Director Fahrettin Altun touched upon the activities of the OTS and stated that Türkiye’s Great Vision targets to enhance solidarity and collaboration among the Turkic States. Director Altun also indicated that Türkiye will continue to put every effort to increase cooperation between the Member and Observer States of the OTS.
At the first session of the Panel namely “2040 Vision of the Turkic World: Common Future, Common Ideal”, Deputy Secretary General of the OTS Yerzhan Mukash provided brief information on the 2040 Vision document of the OTS, which aims to shed light to the prospective cooperation and integration efforts of the Turkic World.
At the panel, participants raised their views in carrying forward the ongoing cooperation and solidarity within the Turkic World, by referring to the roots of the history and shared their vision for the upcoming period.
